Overview
The dried multicolor panels allow for operational efficiency by reducing error-prone steps, minimizing retests and simplifying inventory management. Our Ready-to-use dried cocktails have extended stability of up to 18 months when stored at room temperature (20–25 °C). Our enhanced technology now accommodates high parameter dried panels with 25+ conjugates, including 10+ BD Horizon Brilliant™ reagents in a tube or plate format. We support a wide variety of reagents and dyes including customer-provided reagents and custom conjugations into preformulated cocktails. Dried down reagents can be easily incorporated into the assay workflows, which can help with standardization.
Performance
BD Horizon™ Chroma Multicolor Panels show comparable performance to liquid reagents. The results are taken from a 30-color multicolor panel containing fourteen BD Horizon Brilliant™ Dyes used for the identification and characterization of immune cells on human PBMCs. The staining observed with the liquid reagents (blue data points) is comparable to the staining observed with dried reagents (red data points), which is summarized in the overlay plots.
