Across 56 CD4 single-stain samples evaluated on 12 BD FACSDiscover™ A7 Instruments, % Coefficient of Variation (CV) of Positive MFI were consistently low, demonstrating technical evidence of the system's reproducibility and stability at default settings.
Sample matched, cryopreserved PBMC's were stained with a 20 Color BD Horizon Chroma™ Dried Panel. The panel focused on T Cells, B Cells and Monocytes. Samples were acquired on 12 BD FACSDiscover™ A7 Instruments over the course of three days. The 20-color panel delivered consistent resolution across all 12 instruments, demonstrating strong system stability and reproducibility.
The resolution of the 20-color panel over the course of 45 days remained consistent, demonstrating longitudinal stability of the system over time. Variations in results reflect biological change and not instrument variation.
Detector Setting Independent (DSI) scaling is a feature unique to the BD FACSDiscover™ Platform that sets a new standard for flow cytometry standardization and enables consistent intra- and inter-instrument data scaling.
A high-parameter 50-color panel was run across three BD FACSDiscover™ A7 Systems using the same sample during a single afternoon to evaluate instrument-to-instrument reproducibility. Despite the complexity of the panel, cell populations remain highly consistent across instruments, demonstrating robust performance where reproducibility traditionally becomes most challenging. These results reinforce the ability of FACSTruQ™ Technology to deliver standardized, reproducible data across systems, even for advanced high-parameter experiments, providing confidence in data comparability.
