Our operator training courses are designed to quickly get you up and running on your instrument. These courses are delivered in small class sizes with a 2-to-1 ratio of learners-to-instrument to provide plenty of hands-on time and opportunity to get comfortable with the operation of the software and cytometer.
BD FACSCanto™ II and BD FACSCanto™ 10-Color operator training courses
We offer training either at the BD Training Center in Milpitas, California or at your lab, virtually or in person. Regardless of the location or delivery method, our operator courses cover the same materials designed to provide you with the practical knowledge and skills to acquire and analyze multicolor data and perform maintenance tasks and include:
- General principles of flow cytometry
- Cytometer operation and troubleshooting common hardware and software issues
- Cytometer QC using the BD® Cytometer Setup and Tracking (CS&T) Application
- Compensation, data acquisition and analysis, and data management using BD FACSDiva™ Software
- Data acquisition and analysis and maintenance and troubleshooting using BD® High Throughput Sampler (HTS) or BD® FACS Loader.
- Clinical workflows using BD FACSCanto™ Clinical Software or BD FACSDiva™ Software or both (if you select the Operator clinical course)
- Operation and maintenance of the BD FACS™ Sample Preparation Assistant II or III (SPA II or SPA III) or BD FACS™ Lyse Wash Assistant (LWA) (If you select the Operator clinical with sample preparation instruments course)
