Our operator training courses are designed to quickly get you up and running on your instrument. Our courses are delivered in small class sizes with a 2-to-1 ratio of learners-to-instrument to provide plenty of hands-on time and opportunity to get comfortable with the day-to-day operation of the software and cytometer.
BD FACSAria™ Fusion and BD FACSAria™ III Cell Sorter operator training courses
We offer training either at the BD Training Center in Milpitas, California or at your lab, virtually or in person. Regardless of the location or delivery method, our operator courses cover the same materials designed to provide you with the practical knowledge and skills to sort multicolor samples, acquire and analyze data, and perform maintenance tasks and include:
General principles of flow cytometry and sorting
Basics of compensation, data acquisition and analysis, and data management using BD FACSDiva™ Software
Maintenance, quality control, and troubleshooting common hardware and software issues
Instrument setup and sorting in standard conditions
Tube and plate sorting, including index sorting
