Flow cytometric analysis of CD280 (MRC2) expression on MG-63 cells. Cells from the human MG-63 (Bone Osteosarcoma, ATCC CRL-1427) cell line were stained with PE Mouse IgG1, κ Isotype Control (Cat. No. 562438; dashed line histogram) or PE Mouse Anti-Human CD280 (MRC2) antibody (Cat. No. 566817; solid line histogram) at 0.5 μg/test. The fluorescence histogram showing CD280 (MRC2) expression (or Ig Isotype control staining) was derived from gated events with the light-scatter characteristics of viable cells. Flow cytometry and data analysis were performed using a BD LSRFortessa™ Cell Analyzer System and FlowJo™ software. Data shown on this Technical Data Sheet are not lot specific.

제품 고시
- Since applications vary, each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results.
- An isotype control should be used at the same concentration as the antibody of interest.
- Caution: Sodium azide yields highly toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in plumbing.

The E1/183 monoclonal antibody specifically recognizes CD280 which is also known as C-type lectin domain family 13 member E (CLEC13E), C-type mannose receptor 2, Endocytic receptor 180 (ENDO180), Urokinase-type plasminogen activator receptor-associated protein (UPARAP), or TEM22. CD280 (MRC2) is a ~180 kDa single-pass type I transmembrane glycoprotein that is encoded by MRC2 (Mannose receptor C type 2). This multifunctional adhesion receptor is comprised of an extracellular region that contains an N-terminal cysteine-rich domain, a fibronectin type II domain, and eight consecutive C-type lectin domains (CTLD1-8) which are followed by a transmembrane region and a small cytoplasmic tail. CD280 (MRC2) is variably expressed on myeloid progenitor cells, macrophages, dendritic cells, endothelial cells, fibroblasts, and mesenchymal cells. CD280 (MRC2) can serve as a recycling endocytic receptor involved in the uptake and degradation of extracellular matrix (ECM) proteins including collagens as well as a pattern recognition receptor (PRR) for microbial pathogens. CD280 (MRC2) may also play roles in cell migration and tumor cell metastasis.
