BD Horizon RealBlue™ 670 Reagents

Superior Alternative to PE-Cy5

BD Horizon RealBlue 670 (RB670) Reagents leverage an innovative laser-specific fluorochrome, excited primarily by the 488-nm blue laser to offer:

  • Reduced cross-laser excitation off the 561-nm yellow-green laser
  • A bright fluorochrome to support the detection of low-expression surface and intracellular markers
  • Improved spillover compared to PE-Cy5, NovaFluor Blue 660 and StarBright Blue 675
  • Reduced monocyte background compared to PE-Cy5

Multicolor Flow Cytometry

BD Horizon RB670 Reagents Have Excellent Resolution as Demonstrated in an 18-color Spectral Flow Cytometry Panel Acquired on the BD FACSDiscover S8 Cell Sorter

BD Horizon RealYellow and RealBlueFluorochromes work well together in an 18-color spectral human lineage panel
RB670 18-color Panel

Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells were stained with a viability dye and antibodies against cell surface markers. Cells were analyzed on a BD FACSDiscover S8 Cell Sorter and data were analyzed with FlowJo Software v10.10. A gating strategy for detection of NK-cell subsets and representative subset phenotyping, after exclusion of dead cells and doublets, is shown.
