Assessing Immune Behavioral Response to Bordetella Pertussis Infection in Mice

Leveraging 30- and 40-color flow cytometry panels with new laser-specific reagents
Whooping cough is a severe, highly contagious disease of the respiratory tract, caused by Bordetella pertussis. Tissue-resident memory T cells (T~RM~) are among the first lines of defense against invading pathogens and are involved in long-term protection. However, the factors involved in T~RM~ establishment remain unknown.
This webcast will highlight how high-parameter flow cytometry panels can boost the ability to monitor immune behavioral responses to this infection.
The speakers will discuss the use of 30- and 40-color flow cytometry panels to understand the mechanism underlying generation of tissue-resident memory T cells in response to Bordetella pertussis infection in mice, leveraging a new family of laser-specific fluorochromes, the BD Horizon RealYellow™ and RealBlue™Reagents.
