CD34 Antibodies
Explore over 5 clones against CD34 available for ASR, RUO, and RUO (GMP) use. These antibodies can be used for applications such as flow cytometry and Cite-seq against Human, Rhesus, Cynomolgus, Dog, and Mouse targets. Our CD34 antibodies were developed in Mouse and Rat and have Mouse IgG1 κ, Mouse IgG1 λ2, and Rat IgG2a κ isotypes. Our anti-CD34-specific antibodies have been used in over 1000 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Review over 50 figures from product development to select the best reagents for your needs.

Description: The protein encoded by this gene may play a role in the attachment of stem cells to the bone marrow extracellular matrix or to stromal cells. This single-pass membrane protein is highly glycosylated and phosphorylated by protein kinase C. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Enables sulfate binding activity. Acts upstream of or within leukocyte migration. Located in cytoplasm; external side of plasma membrane; and extracellular region. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; cardiovascular system; extraembryonic component; genitourinary system; and skin. Orthologous to human CD34 (CD34 molecule).
Function: Possible adhesion molecule with a role in early hematopoiesis by mediating the attachment of stem cells to the bone marrow extracellular matrix or directly to stromal cells. Could act as a scaffold for the attachment of lineage specific glycans, allowing stem cells to bind to lectins expressed by stromal cells or other marrow components. Presents carbohydrate ligands to selectins.
Molecular Function: Cell adhesion
Subcellular location: Membrane
