BD® Flex Single-Cell Multiplexing Kit B, Flex Sample Tag 7-12

BD Genomics Rhapsody instrument and Precise reagent kit.

Regulatory Status Legend
Any use of products other than the permitted use without the express written authorization of Becton, Dickinson and Company is strictly prohibited.
Description
The BD® Flex Sample Multiplexing Kit B Tag 7-12 contains the necessary reagents to support flexible labelling up to 6 single-cell samples (Flex SMK Sample Tags 7-12). If combined with Flex SMK A, C, and D Kits, up to 24 samples can be labelled and pooled before single-cell capture with the BD Rhapsody™ Single-Cell Analysis system and BD Rhapsody™ Express Single-Cell Analysis system.
The E31-1459 monoclonal antibody specifically recognizes R-Phycoerythrin (PE), a commonly used fluorochrome for flow cytometry. The E31-1459 hybridoma was generated using purified R-Phycoerythrin as the immunogen. The E31-1459 antibody allows for the use of any R-PE conjugated primary antibody to stain sample cells of interest with a two-step staining approach, regardless of cell type or species origin. The binding of the E31-1459 antibody to PE does not quench the fluorescence of the PE molecule. E31-1459 antibody also binds to R-PE tandem fluorophores (eg, PE-Cy™7). User should be mindful if using a multi-color flow sorting panel with PE or PE-tandem conjugates prior to single cell multiomic analysis.
Preparation And Storage
Recommended Assay Procedures
Please refer to protocols Single Cell Labeling with the BD® Flex Single-Cell Multiplexing Kits (Doc ID: 23-24311) and Single Cell Labeling with the BD® Flex Single-Cell Multiplexing Kits and BD® AbSeq Ab-Oligos (Doc ID:23-24312). Before using reagents, see the BD Rhapsody™ Single-Cell Analysis System Instrument User Guide (Doc ID: 214062) or the BD Rhapsody™ Express Single-Cell Analysis System Instrument User Guide (Doc ID: 214063).
Use standard laboratory safety protocols. Read and understand the safety data sheets (SDSs) before handling chemicals. To obtain SDSs, go to regdocs.bd.com or contact BD Biosciences technical support at scomix@bdscomix.bd.com.
Warning: All biological specimens and materials coming in contact with them are considered biohazardous. Handle as if capable of transmitting infection and dispose of with proper precautions in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Never pipette by mouth. Wear suitable protective clothing, eyewear, and gloves.
Product Notices
- Source of all serum proteins is from USDA inspected abattoirs located in the United States.
- Caution: Sodium azide yields highly toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in plumbing.
- For U.S. patents that may apply, see bd.com/patents.
