X40.huIgG1.rMAb is a chimeric recombinant monoclonal antibody that specifically recognizes keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH), an antigen not expressed by mammalian cells. This antibody was engineered using variable domain sequences from the original KLH-specific X40 clone with constant region sequences derived from Human IgG1, κ. The X40.huIgG1.rMAb can thus serve as a Human IgG1, κ Isotype Control for antibodies with the Human IgG1, κ isotype which are used in functional and phenotypic research studies of mammalian cells.

Endotoxin level is ≤0.01 EU/µg (≤0.001 ng/µg) of protein as determined by the LAL assay.NA/LE are perfectly suited to be used in culture or in vivo (for nonhuman studies) for functional assays — blocking, neutralizing, activation or depletion — where the presence of azide may damage cells or exogenous endotoxin may signal or activate cells.
