- Since applications vary, each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results.

- Caution: Sodium azide yields highly toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in plumbing.
Reacts with human immunoglobulin A1 (IgA1). It does not react with human IgA2, nor does it bind to other human immunoglobulin heavy chains. IgA1 is present in serum and secretions and is expressed in less than 1% of normal peripheral blood lymphocytes.
