BD Pharmingen™ FITC Mouse Anti-Armenian and Syrian Hamster IgG Cocktail
Description
This preparation consists of a mixture of two mouse anti-hamster IgG monoclonal antibodies. It reacts with Armenian hamster IgG1, IgG2, and IgG3, and Syrian hamster IgG1 monoclonal antibodies. It does not react with other hamster IgG groups or hamster IgM. This FITC-conjugated mAb cocktail may be used as a secondary reagent in immunofluorescent staining.

- Since applications vary, each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results.
- Although hamster immunoglobulin isotypes have not been well defined, BD Biosciences Pharmingen has grouped Armenian and Syrian hamster IgG monoclonal antibodies according to their reactivity with a panel of mouse anti-hamster IgG mAbs. - Caution: Sodium azide yields highly toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in plumbing.
