Description
For the BD FACSVia™ system: The BD™ CS&T Beads are intended for use on the BD FACSVia™ flow cytometer system with BD FACSVia™ clinical software for the verification of optical and fluidic performance and to adjust compensation on the flow cytometer. For the BD FACSLyric™ flow cytometer: BD™ CS&T beads, in conjunction with BD FACSuite™ Clinical software, provide a standardized method for the quality control of optics, electronics, and fluidics, and for adjusting detector voltages and fluorescence compensation on the BD FACSLyric™ flow cytometer.
Preparation And Storage
• Store vials at 2°C–8°C and protect from light. Do not use after the expiration date shown on the label. • After dilution, the beads are stable for: – 8 hours at 2°C–25°C on the BD FACSVia system – 8 hours at 15°C–25°C, or 24 hours at 2°C–8°C on the BD FACSLyric flow cytometer. CAUTION Keep the diluted bead suspension protected from light. Some of the dyes used to manufacture the beads are light sensitive. Fluorescence 3 levels can change if beads are exposed to direct light for longer than 20 minutes. 5. INSTRUMENTS
