The BD® Rhapsody XT Magnetic Baseplate with 24 post magnets is designed for para-magnetic bead isolation of captured mRNA transcripts and cDNA libraries from single-cells in an Abgene™ 96 Well 0.8mL Polypropylene DeepWell™ Sample Processing & Storage Plate (Thermo Fisher Scientific Cat. No. AB0859). The magnetic baseplate is made of Nylon 6 with a standard microplate SBS footprint. The magnetic stand is recommended for use on robotic liquid handling workstations.
The BD® Rhapsody XT Magnetic Baseplate is validated for capturing the BD Rhapsody™ Enhanced Cell Capture Beads and the Agencourt® AMPure® XP magnetic beads (Beckman Coulter Life Sciences Cat. No. A63880) used in the protocols for the BD Rhapsody™ Single-Cell Library Preparation Assays for single-cell analysis via next generation sequencing.
