Relevance of Immune Monitoring in COVID-19 Research and Patient Care
As the COVID-19 worldwide death toll tops 4.6 million, more research is needed to understand how the virus impacts our immune system and the best course of clinical management.
We invite you to join our esteemed speakers in the upcoming symposium “Relevance of Immune Monitoring in COVID-19 Research and patient care”.
In COVID-19 patients presenting with severe respiratory failure, dysregulated immune response characterized by depletion of circulating lymphocyte subsets and downregulated HLA-DR expression is a hallmark of disease pathogenesis.
In the First Session of the symposium, we will discuss how assessment of these parameters in hospitalized COVID-19 patients can provide useful prognostic information and aid in the identification of patients with an increased likelihood of adverse outcomes.
In the Second Session, we will discuss the potential utility and technical nuances of measuring SARS-CoV-2-specific T-cell responses utilizing flow cytometry.
Dates: October 20 and 21, 2021
Time: 2 PM - 4:15 PM SGT/ 11.30 AM to 1:45 PM IST/ 3 PM - 5:15 PM KST/ 5 PM - :715 PM AEDT
