FITC Mouse Anti-Human TCR-α/β
Regulatory Status Legend
Any use of products other than the permitted use without the express written authorization of Becton, Dickinson and Company is strictly prohibited.
Preparation And Storage
The monoclonal antibody is supplied as 12.5 µg purified immunoglobulin in 2.0 mL (6.25 µg/mL) of phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). The FITC conjugate is supplied as 100 µg in 2.0 mL (50 µg/mL). Buffered saline contains gelatin and 0.1% sodium azide. The vials should be stored at 2° to 8°C. Conjugated forms should not be frozen and should be protected from prolonged exposure to light. Each reagent is stable for the period shown on the bottle label when stored as directed.
Clone WT31 is derived from hybridization of mouse Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with human thymocytes. WT31 (Anti–TCR-α/β-1) recognizes a conformational epitope formed by the T-cell receptor (TCR) for antigen and the CD3 epsilon chain. The α/β TCR is a disulfide-linked 80-kDalton (kDa) heterodimer consisting of a 44-kDa α chain and a 37-kDa β chain.
