      Recommended Assay Procedures

      This antibody can be used to detect human immunoglobulin ligh chain kappa (κ). In a quantitative sandwich ELISA for measuring immunoglobulin light chain kappa, this antibody may be paired with purified anti-human immunoglobulin, clone G18-145 (Cat. No. 555785).

      The G20-361 antibody reacts with human immunoglobulin light chain kappa (κ). It does not react with λ light chain or heavy chains.

      This antibody is routinely tested by ELISA analysis. Other applications were tested at BD Biosciences Pharmingen during antibody development only or reported in the literature.

      Tissue culture supernatant is purified by either protein A/G or affinity purification methods. Both methods yield antibody in solution that is free of most other soluble proteins, lipids, etc. This format provides pure antibody that is suitable for a number of downstream applications including: secondary labeling for flow cytometry or microscopy, ELISA, Western blot, etc.
