Preparation And Storage
Recommended Assay Procedures
This antibody conjugate has been tested as a detecting reagent in ELISA (~2 µg/ml) to assure purity and reactivity. For immunohistochemical staining, a dilution range of 1:25 - 1:100 is suggested on acetone-fixed frozen sections.
Product Notices
- Since applications vary, each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results.
- Caution: Sodium azide yields highly toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in plumbing.
- Source of all serum proteins is from USDA inspected abattoirs located in the United States.
- For fluorochrome spectra and suitable instrument settings, please refer to our Multicolor Flow Cytometry web page at www.bdbiosciences.com/colors.
- This antibody has been developed for the immunohistochemistry application. However, a routine immunohistochemistry test is not performed on every lot. Researchers are encouraged to titrate the reagent for optimal performance.
- Please refer to www.bdbiosciences.com/us/s/resources for technical protocols.
Companion Products
The R12-3 antibody recognizes an epitope in the CH3 domain of mouse IgG2b of Igh-C[a] and Igh-C[b] haplotypes. It does not react with other Ig isotypes. Detection of surface immunoglobulin on B lymphoma cells has been demonstrated with R12-3 mAb.
