Preparation And Storage
The FITC and PE conjugates are each supplied as 12.5 μg in 1.0 mL (12.5 μg/mL) of PBS. PBS contains gelatin and 0.1% sodium azide.
Store vials at 2° to 8°C. Conjugated forms should not be frozen and should be protected from prolonged exposure to light. Each reagent is stable for the period shown on the bottle label when stored as directed.
Anti–ZAP-70, clone 1E7.2, is generated from the fusion of AG8.553 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with a ZAP-70 peptide 282-307 conjugated to KLH. Anti–ZAP-70 is a 70-kilodalton (kd) protein kinase, a member of the Syk family of protein tyrosine kinases that is associated with the zeta chain of the CD3/TCR complex. Anti–ZAP-70 plays a crucial role in T-cell signal transduction and thymocyte development.
