Measurable residual disease (MRD) is becoming a critical biomarker in multiple myeloma, with growing relevance for patient management, clinical research and drug trials. Next-generation flow (NGF) combines high sensitivity, standardization, and broad accessibility, offering a scalable approach to expand high-quality MRD testing across healthcare systems. To advance harmonization and best practices, Waters Biosciences collaborates with leading European myeloma experts through the Multiple Myeloma NGF Expert Community.  This presentation reviews the evolving role of MRD, highlights the importance of standardization for equitable access, and shares the progress and future vision of this collaborative European initiative.
