BD® OMICS-One Protein Panels
The power of protein + RNA without the high cost and complexity
CITE-seq is a powerful technique that helps unlock deeper biological insights about your samples by combining information from both the transcriptome and proteome.
The complete CITE-seq solution on the BD Rhapsody™ HT Single-Cell Analysis System is now more accessible with the BD® OMICS-One Protein Panels. These SMART-titrated and validated antibody-oligo panels are designed to target key immune cell or tumor markers and can help you uncover immune cell lineages and assess activation and suppression states in your single-cell samples with ease at reduced sequencing costs.
For studies that focus solely on protein expression, BD® OMICS-One Protein Panels also support a protein-only workflow, using the same panels, reagents, instrument and analysis software.
Designed for flexibility, BD® OMICS-One Protein Panels offer a streamlined sample-to-data solution and empower you to generate high-quality protein data, whether focusing solely on protein expression or integrating it with transcriptomic insights

Smart Panel Design
SMART Panel Design Lowers Sequencing Cost While Preserving the Sensitivity and Resolution of CITE-Seq Data
CITE-seq or high-plex protein-profiling experiments with antibody-oligos traditionally incur high sequencing costs because highly abundant protein targets such as CD45 and CD44 consume most of the sequencing reads requiring deeper sequencing to detect less abundant secondary and tertiary protein targets. SMART panel design addresses this challenge by utilizing carefully selected, pre-titrated concentrations of antibody-oligos against abundant primary markers. This helps to distribute sequencing reads to the more critical secondary and tertiary targets without compromising the sensitivity or ability to detect the abundant cell surface primary markers.
How does this work? Select antibody-oligos in each BD® OMICS-One Protein Panel that target select, highly expressed primary markers are titrated and lyophilized alongside “cold antibodies” (antibodies lacking oligonucleotides) of the same clone. This approach generates a gradual and predictable decrease in reads allocated to the primary marker targeted thereby moderating the signal of the targeted marker without affecting the ability to resolve cell populations. The outcome is better resolution of low-expressed proteins at the same sequencing depth without incurring additional sequencing costs.
BD® OMICS-One B-Cell Protein Panel
This 30-plex antibody-oligo panel targets key cell surface protein markers on B-cells, such as CD19, CD20, HLA-DR and CD138. This panel allows you to characterize B-cell subtypes such as plasma cells, IgM memory cells and germinal center B-cells and their activated/suppressed states.
BD® OMICS-One T-Cell Protein Panel
This 30-plex antibody panel targets key cell surface protein markers on T-cells, such as CD3, CD4, CD8, CD45RO and CDRA. This panel allows you to characterize T-cell subtypes such as naïve, effector and central memory T-cells and their activated/suppressed states.
BD® OMICS-One Tumor Protein Panel
This 30-plex antibody-oligo panel targets key cell surface protein markers for characterizing tumor cell populations and other features including immune evasion, adhesion and stemness.
BD® OMICS-One Adaptive Protein Panel
This 59-plex antibody-oligo panel targets key cell surface protein markers for characterizing cell populations and cell states associated with the adaptive immune system.
BD® OMICS-One Immuno-Oncology Protein Panel
This 85-plex antibody-oligo panel targets key tumor, T-cell and B-cell surface protein markers. Leverage this panel to study tumor and adaptive immune cell populations in your samples of interest.
