Born to Transform – The BD Multi-Omics Alliance

We are pleased to announce the formation of the “BD Multi-Omics Alliance”, consisting of a balanced team of 7 renowned academic experts from across Europe supported by BD.
Driven by the experts’ vision and their common belief that a true understanding of complex diseases or biological processes requires the simultaneous evaluation of protein and mRNA expression at the single-cell level, the Alliance will investigate the use of RNAseq and BD™ AbSeq technology in three areas: haemato-oncology & stem cells (human), Treg and CD8 T cell plasticity & function (mice) and sepsis immune-profiling (human).
Acting as a European Consortium, the members of the Alliance have initiated studies in the three areas, supported by BD’s expertise and through access to BD Rhapsody™ and its accompanying reagents.
