Product Notices
- Since applications vary, each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results.
- An isotype control should be used at the same concentration as the antibody of interest.
- Please refer to www.bdbiosciences.com/us/s/resources for technical protocols.
The 5A1 antibody reacts with the macrophage-specific colony stimulating factor (known as CSF-1 or M-CSF) protein. CSF-1 is a hematopoietic growth factor that regulates the survival, proliferation, and differentiation of mononuclear phagocytes. CSF-1 is found to be produced by a vast number of cells including fibroblasts, stromal cells, osteoblasts, activated T cells, macrophages, and B cells.
