BD Pathway bioimaging systems
FAQs
Can the BD Pathway high-content bioimager be run in non-confocal mode?
Yes. The confocal and non-confocal image can be easily switched back and forth by sliding the Nipkow disk in and out of the light path.
Can you perform z-stack confocal images on successive wells?
Yes.
What is the resolution of the XY stage?
One hundred nanometers in x and y.
What is the smallest z-step you can perform on the BD Pathway high-content bioimager?
The smallest z-step on the BD Pathway system is 50 nm. This should not be confused with the z-resolution of the image. See the confocal FAQs.
What is the CO2 pressure supply for the BD Pathway high-content bioimager?
The pressure supply to the BD Pathway 855 imager is set to 20 psi (138 kPa) at the regulator.
