Technology upgrades transform previous versions of the BD FACSAria system to the latest capabilities of the BD FACSAria III. A variety of upgrade scenarios are available to accommodate customers who choose partial upgrades as well as those who choose full upgrades with additional lasers. The upgrade from a BD FACSAria to a BD FACSAria III is performed in two stages. In the first stage the cytometer is upgraded to a BD FACSAria IIU. The second stage upgrades the BD FACSAria IIU cytometer to the capabilities of a BD FACSAria III.
