BD Biosciences custom coating services offer a wide selection of biological and synthetic coatings for application to a broad range of BD Falcon™ cell cultureware, high density microassay plates and cell culture inserts for use in cell attachment, culture, migration or capture assays.

The coating processes are suitable for use with flasks, roller bottles, microscopic slides, dishes, cell culture inserts and plates; to include both low density (6- to 24-well) and high density (96- to 1536-well) formats. Large manufacturing lot sizes can be accommodated.

BD has extensive experience in thin film coating technologies and offers highly consistent and biologically functional surfaces. Wide selection of surface environments

Cell environments include a wide selection of extracellular matrix proteins and attachment factors in order to meet a broad range of cell culture and assay application requirements. Surfaces are ready-to-use saving you time by increasing productivity with surfaces which have been optimized to meet the application requirements. Custom coating surfaces are available to include bar-coding or bulk packaging options.

BD’s highly trained technical support staff can assist in the selection and qualification of an appropriate surface (extracellular or synthetic matrices) for use with a cell type or application. BD Biosciences also offers custom vialing of extracellular matrix proteins and cytokines, allowing you to choose the appropriate volume for your research needs.
