The first name in cell culture, BD Falcon flasks feature a unique vacuum-gas plasma tissue culture surface treatment that provides consistent cell attachment, spreading, and growth. BD Primaria combines a variety of nitrogen-containing functional groups and negatively charged oxygen-containing groups. This complex surface is homogeneous and stable, and has been shown to improve attachment and differentiation of a variety of primary cells and cell lines.

BD BioCoat flasks are coated with extracellular matrix proteins designed to mimic the in vivo environment and maximize cellular activity, delivering consistent results in a broad range of research applications. BD BioCoat flasks provide versatility with surface options including collagen I, collagen IV, fibronectin, gelatin, laminin, and poly-d-lysine.

The innovative bag materials will not scuff or scratch the optical surface, and the medical-style, peel open bags guarantee that flask sterility is maintained. The bag material is recyclable for reduced environmental footprint.
