Cell Culture Flasks
BD Biosciences offers an extensive selection of high quality cell culture flasks with proven surface chemistries and innovative design features to streamline your cell culture workflow.
From our popular single layer flasks to our new BD Falcon™ Multi-Flasks, you’ll find a wide range of sizes, surfaces, and cap styles to fit your cell culture needs.
Features
- New multi-layer flasks allow you to scale-up your cell culture easily and predictably
- Single layer flasks are available with non-treated, tissue culture-treated, biological, and synthetic surface treatments
- Secure stacking provides stability from accidental tips or spills
- Assures consistent culture conditions when performing routine cell culture testing
- Innovative vented caps allow optimal gas exchange while protecting against contamination
Increase productivity with new Multi-Flasks
New BD Falcon Multi-Flasks are available in three- and five-layer designs, which provide 525 cm2 and 875 cm2, respectively, allowing you to grow more cells faster and easier than ever before. A unique design delivers homogeneous cell populations with fewer handling steps and less risk of contamination.
Save time with innovative design features
The innovative shape of the single-layer flask allows access to all corners with a pipet or scraper, and a locking incubation position prevents caps from falling off or closing while in the open position. The flasks also feature volumetric graduations for added precision.
Enhance cell attachment and growth with proven surface treatments
BD flasks are available with a variety of surface options that are animal-free or animal-derived, including untreated, BD Falcon tissue culture-treated, BD Primaria™, BD PureCoat™ and
BD BioCoat™ biological surface treatments.
Be assured of sterility with our innovative packaging
Surface-treated flasks are packaged in easy-to-open, double-wall bags with reseal tabs, providing increased sterility assurance and convenient use. The innovative bag materials will not scuff or scratch the optical surface, and the medical-style, peel open bags guarantee that flask sterility is maintained. The bag material is recyclable for reduced environmental footprint.
