BD’s pilot operations employ identical equipment to that used in our full scale AF2™ operations to ensure performance consistency and <10 day turnaround on pilot sample requests:
Milling technology: State-of-the-art milling via pin mill technology (Hosokawa Alpine UPZ 100) provides excellent particle size consistency, minimal heat generation, and is easily cleaned.
Powder Batch Size Range: 1 kilogram – 10 kilograms
Liquid Batch Size Range: 40 liters – 200 liters in both PET bottles and bags
