BD IPLab™ software has an intuitive interface providing one-click control of all your hardware devices. This allows you to quickly and easily capture single images and time lapse movies, including complex 6D image acquisition protocols. The software's powerful image analysis options are well organized within user-configurable "Analysis Toolbars," enhancing your productivity and enabling you to process multiple images interactively or through file batch processing.
BD IPLab imaging software is structured around the standard imaging workflow to include Image Acquisition, Image Processing, and Image Analysis.
Scripting within BD IPLab software allows you to automate experiments and analysis to your specific needs into a single keystroke.

Image acquisition
Within the Image Acquisition process, BD IPLab software supports a wide range of imaging techniques.
The Motion Control extension allows control of the hardware for:
- Creating time lapse movies
- Acquiring image Z stacks
- Multiwavelength experiments
Hardware Control includes:
- XY stages
- Z steppers
- Filter wheels and shutters

Image Processing
If Image Processing is required, BD IPLab software provides a full suite of basic and advanced processing tools to identify your objects of interest, such as:
- Image normalization
- Background correction
- Creation of pseudo color fluorescent images
- Convolution filters
- Ability to merge image sequences in z or t-series
- Ability to merge up to seven different images or sequences with Multiprobe extension
